Katie received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys life on a small hobby farm with her husband and two daughters. In addition to a big garden and a fruit orchard, they have two dogs, a cat, and many chickens. In her spare time, she loves fixing up their old farmhouse, camping, and traveling. One of her longtime dreams is to visit every National Park in the country.
